IMPACT welcomes Silpakorn University to establish a 'City Campus'
IMPACT Exhibition and Convention Center opens its door to welcome Silpakorn University to establish the latest ‘City Campus’, located inside its venue in order to branch out the fields of education as well as to accommodate a huge number of undergraduate, graduate and Ph.D. students in the near future. In particular, the joint venture between IMPACT and Silpakorn University to inaugurate ‘ASEAN Creative Center City’ to serve as a hub for arts, culture and design both locally and internationally will significantly transform IMPACT to become a land of prosperity that captures more attention from business entrepreneurs.
Mr. Paul Kanjanapas, Managing Director of IMPACT Exhibition Management Co., Ltd. and Executive Director of BLAND, realizes the importance of today’s education which requires one-stop facilities and services to get an active stand to compete and win on international stage with confidence. Silpakorn University has been recognized and honored both locally and internationally as one of the oldest public universities operated under the supervision of the government. Therefore, IMPACT is pleased to partner with Silpakorn University to set up the ‘City Campus’ in our Muang Thong Thani area.
This ‘City Campus’ project will create tremendous opportunities and provide unrivaled benefits to all parties. We, too, will be able to facilitate comprehension and produce qualified students who can foster their knowledge and competencies from classroom education and internship opportunities to gain hands-on experience in various departments across our company through cooperative education programs.
Professor ChaicharnTavornvej, President of Silpakorn University believes that IMPACT Exhibition Center will do what it takes to offer a total integration of facilities and services to accommodate the educational management and help reduce the university’s investment budget, which can fully respond to government policies and will be able to reflect its results orientation and productivity, enhancing its potential and development in relevant areas to finally achieve the objectives of establishing the ‘City Campus’ at Muang Thong Thani. With a total investment of 600 million baht on a 10-rai site, it is expected that the first educational building will be fully operated within academic year 2015.
